What Is Glaucoma?

Glaucoma is more common than you might think. It is often a hereditary condition that leads to loss of vision from abnormally high pressure known as intramuscular pressure on your eye(s). It causes nerve damage and leads to blindness. There is no cure for glaucoma, but the deterioration can be slowed down with medication, eye drops or surgery, when caught early on.
