Intraocular lens exchange

If a patient has had cataract surgery previously and is now experiencing some type of incompatibility with his or her intraocular lens implant, due to visual side effects, glaucoma, corneal problems, malposition of the implant, etc., an intraocular lens exchange may be appropriate. Many surgeons are not comfortable with the techniques required to perform this procedure, but Dr. Clark is very experienced in lens exchanges for a variety of conditions and enjoys the opportunity to help patients in this way, who may otherwise feel stuck in an unresolvable situation.
